Sunday Hypothetical: Best Day to Covertly Invade the U.S.A.?

Say you are an alien menace bent on conquering this country. Be you a terrestrial or extraterrestrial alien, what day of the year do you pick for maximum vulnerability of the populace? What day will make it hardest for the country's non-military personnel to organize against you?

That's right. St. Patrick's Day. Say, 2 in the morning?

With most of the country's able-bodied young men and women completely soused and puking green beer into the streets, I believe your attacks will be devastating. And as an added bonus, they will be hung over for at least the following day, so you can really consolidate your power before anyone has a chance to try and resist.

I suppose New Years Day, around 1 in the morning, would be a good time as well, but I propose you calibrate your targeting systems on anyone wearing green hats made of cheap plastic. Those things have to show up really well in any alien targeting system.
