Donna. Red. Mom. Nanna. The newly crowned matriarch of the family. She's got an awful lot of names. That's got to be kind of weird.

I mean, what can you say about your own mother in a photo blog post? You're not going to see the picture the same way everyone else does. You look at it, and you've got twenty nine years of memories attached to the image. You look at it, and you see not just the person, but ghosts that haunt them too. Some of those ghosts are her, from earlier times.

Really, all I can think right now is, "Man. She really looks English."
