Roller derby is the kind of sport you expect people to play in the post apocalyptic future, wearing spiked shoulder pads and wielding lead pipes and chains against their opponents.

There were no weapons at Saturday's match, but it was a brawling mess without them. Roller girls were flying in every direction, crashing into one another and splashing into the crowd. Skates lost wheels, helmets were cracked, stockings were torn, and in the end, the FOCO Girls Gone Derby, aka the Kung Fu Donnas, had won the match.
