Finished Reading: Warren Ellis's Crooked Little Vein

Alternate title suggestion: Uncle Warren's Guide to the American Pervert. Overall, a fun, short read. Couldn't be more than 60,000 words, for sure. It's a slim, evil little book in black. There's not much new here for regular readers of his blog, but it's still worth the cover price. I kind of think it would be nice to see more of his protagonist, the shit magnet.

Also reading right now: The Man in the High Castle and Ironside. I am not the kind of person who throws books across a room, but I swear to god, if Black makes one more cutsey reference to other fantasy writers (1/4th or so in, and already I see references to Emma Bull and Kelly Link)... otherwise, book good. Just quit it with the god damn insider stuff.
