Photo of the Day: Dragonfly at Rest

I've had some trouble confusing flies, but I am sure this one is a dragon fly and not one of those other kinds. I was ecstatic to get this shot, because the little blue damselflies were a piece of cake to catch sitting still, but dragon flies, not so much. Every time I started to get close, bang, they were off. This one, however, sat still long enough for a dozen shots, which was pretty impressive.

I guess the composition could have been better here, but screw it, I like the shot anyway.
