Watched: Torchwood S2E1

Not nearly as horrifically bad as last season. The guy who plays Spike, whazzname (never was a fan of Buffy, sorry), hammed it up tremendously. Probably the weakest part of the show. But the team banter was good. The show was decidedly taking itself less seriously, which I consider a good move. Lots more alien stuff. Love how everyone seems to know about Torchwood now, including little old ladies. "Blow"fish alien high on cocaine? Hilarious, but what a bad pun.

Overall? I'd give it a B-. We'll keep watching. Not that there's anything else to watch due to the strike.
