A fundamental flaw in science

Asimov, you poor stuffy bastard. The most exciting phrase to hear in science, and the one that heralds the best discoveries should be "MUAHAHAHAHA! IT WORKS! IT WORKS! THEY LAUGHED AT ME AT THE ACADEMY, BUT NOW I HAVE MY REVENGE!!"

That's what's wrong with science these days. Not enough of that.
