Launchpad Workshop 2008 Now Open

Mike Brotherton runs a week long SF workshop in Laramie, Wyoming each year, focusing on teaching writers about real astronomy. This year, the workshop runs from July 30th to August 5th, which means you can use the workshop to get out here for WorldCon as well. There are travel stipends available, so don't hesitate to apply if money is a concern.

I visited the workshop last year, and I was really impressed with the knowledge that was on display from the instructors. This year, Jerry Oltion has returned as a guest instructor.
