Telepathy Has Arrived

This is representative of a trend I've been exploring in my fiction lately. I don't believe in the paranormal, but a good chunk of the world does. If technology can remake the world closer to the one that most people think it is, then it will. Telepathy. Ghosts. Bigfoot. We'll make the things that don't exist, because we want them, and we can. Our belief in them as a society means that we have some need for them, whether they exist or not. With technology, we will literalize our myths and legends. How long before a religion is formed worshipping a weak AI search engine?
