My fantasy inventory. Let me show it to you--oh wait. Where did it go?

I received a "close, but not quite" rejection today from an editor, with a request to send more. I'd be happy to, only I realized, I have no more fantasy stories in my inventory. I've either sold them all or submitted them through that publication already.

This is a particularly weird situation to find myself in. I've got more SF than fantasy in the inventory, which if you would have asked me, without looking, I would have told you the reverse. For a long time, I was having more success writing more fantastical pieces (not necessarily in selling them, but in getting them onto the page). Although I really can't talk about success lately, because even with my burst of productivity in February, I was mostly writing sequels to previously published stories.

I have a website to finish building in the next 3 days. I have until Tuesday to complete a story or face failing at my "at least one story a month" goal. I'm going to spend today wracking my brains for an idea for a fantasy story. Gotta flip that switch back over for a bit. I wish it wasn't so damned hard. Maybe with time, I'll learn to make the transition between wordsmithing and visual art more quickly.

I really hate not having something else to send when I'm requested to do so.
