ICE AGE 3 - IN THEATERS WORLDWIDE JULY 2009

The Ice Age movies were mostly inoffensive stuff, barring my unreasonable hatred of Ray Romano, which was balanced out for my faded, nostalgic appreciation for Dennis Leary. They weren't scientifically accurate at all (dodos were not killed in the Ice Age, for instance--sailors ate them all), but you take what you can get from Hollywood and a film with mammoths and sabertooth cats was something new.

And now, they unveil the latest in the series: ICE AGE 3: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS.

Say what now? Seriously?

From watching the teaser, it looks like some kind of hollow Earth situation, too. Which admittedly, is kind of cool.

Oh well. At least sabertooth squirrel will still be funny. Maybe.
